Karishma is an Integrative Health Nutritionist & Holistic Wellness Coach specializing in weight management, food sensitivities, thyroid conditions, Diabetes, PCOS, and autoimmune conditions. Karishma completed her education at the American College of Sports Medicine where she earned her degree in Dietetics. She then went on to complete her rotational internship needed to become a Dietitian along with many more degrees in various fields of nutrition and wellness. Following the completion of getting her title, she began working with weight loss patients at a doctor’s office for a couple of years seeing thousands of local patients every day–all struggling with weight and other metabolic disorders.

There are a vast number of factors that contribute towards your weight, ranging from the very evident diet and lifestyle, right through to hereditary characteristics and hormonal abnormalities. However, notwithstanding the factors which are currently determining your weight, it should ideally be within a healthy range. Either you are underweight or overweight, it can affect your physical and psychological interests, and both carry an equally large number of risks.

This can include taking timely meals and eating regularly. We also advise on maintaining a food diary as it is proved to be a beneficial way of monitoring diet, keeping track of the week’s meals, planning ahead and monitoring activity and exercise. It can also help to record thoughts and feelings which may alert us to any links between eating and thought patterns.
